Who we are
Companera ("we", "us") operates this website at companera.co and the Air Diary application at airdiary.companera.co. We are based in the United States and welcome visitors from anywhere.
Who this is for
Companera and Air Diary are intended for people aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
What we collect
We keep data collection to what the product actually needs:
- Account data. Your email address and authentication session when you sign up or log in.
- Air Diary entries. The comfort readings, notes, and related details you choose to save.
- Sign-up location. An approximate location (derived from your connection) at the moment you create an Air Diary account, so we can understand where the tool is being used.
- Usage signals. Basic operational data such as how many data exports you perform in Air Diary. We use this to improve the product.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email, and message you send so we can reply.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. The only cookies we use are the ones required to keep you signed in.
How we use your data
- To provide your account and Air Diary features.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To understand aggregate usage (where sign-ups happen, how often exports are used) and improve the product.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf:
- Lovable Cloud — application hosting and backend.
- Google — optional sign-in with Google (OAuth).
How long we keep it
We keep account and Air Diary data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep limited records for legal or security reasons. Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@companera.co and we will respond with care. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws in the U.S.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect your data. No online service is perfectly secure, so we also keep the amount of data we collect small.
Changes
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know inside the app.
